We use a Julian date and letter to show the year, day of the year, letter of the batch, and production number from when the toy was created.

We create everything we can in our modest workshop in Phoenix, Arizona. We do our best to source our materials and supplies locally to help support our neighbors and their businesses.

Building quality heirlooms from scratch takes a bit of time. We try to make enough to keep up with demand, but sometimes we may fall short. Please know we are diligently working to refill any stock shortages as quickly as possible. Please check back often to see when your favorite toy is back in stock.

We try to make sure our creations have enough finish on them to look good for a long time. Because we put so much finish on, some of it might get on the packing paper. It is a completely safe and natural finish called Fractionated Coconut oil.

We have tested each design to meet or exceed the rigorous standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission for children toys. While testing does try to simulate real world use, we still strongly encourage adult supervision at all times for all children.

We finish everything in Fractionated Coconut oil. It is an all natural oil that can be found in most health stores. However mineral oil or baby oil will work great and be safe too! Just please do not use cooking oils. Cooking oils can cause things to smell real funny after a while.

Most anything made out of wood are effected by temperature and humidity. This can cause a rough spot to appear. Just a quick rub with 600 or higher grit sandpaper will smooth out the rough spot. Any hardware or auto parts store should have that available.
